EXPIRED
(A Supernatural-Psychological Thriller)
Tracie Burlingame. They said her eyes were synonymous with a chameleon. The birth of her sons was synonymous with murder. Harlem. Harlem, New York. The city is a Mecca. It has long been a breeding ground for some of the most astounding talent, the world has ever seen. That was before. This is now.
When Tracie Burlingame becomes an unwitting pawn, drawn into a web of deceit as thick as quicksand, spun by a deranged mind, she finds herself sucked into a collage of insanity, and a world where nothing is as it appears to be on the surface. She is drawn into a realm, where the talents are being collected, starting with the youngest child she birthed, but the path is strewn with unimaginable evil, and The Unholy has clamped its sights firmly on Tracie Burlingame, pitting her between a psychopathic serial murderer and something much, much worse.
While Tracie Burlingame struggles to keep her head above the muddied waters, while she fights to keep her remaining sons alive, and while she tries to stay one step ahead of the Harlem Police Precinct, she is summoned by the countenance of THE UNSPOKEN and there she learns that in order to win, she must choose a different weapon, a weapon that is foreign to everything she has lived and stood for. She also learns that out of the ashes of death arises great birth.
Standing in a melee of death and intrigue, “Expired” is one woman’s journey. It is her struggle to rise above self, to rise above immeasurable pain, and the brutal slaying of her sons. It is her yearning to tower over madness, insanity and dementia not of this world. It is her endeavor to outrun the haunting of her past, and to dodge the payment that is being extracted in her present.
It is her plunging exploration of that which you do not see, and her battle with an all consuming, encompassing darkness set in effect by a territorial psychopathic killer as she learns, that death isn’t the worst thing that can happen to you, and, that that which you do not see is sometimes the most profound.
Expired is a voyage. It is a journey. It is the story of one woman’s pain and every mother’s nightmare, and how when push comes to shove, sometimes all a woman or a mother has, is her belief.
Expired is simply the end of all things. Or is it? |
